RTX 5070 Iray Render Failure - "No Usable Devices"

Hi! I have an RTX 5070 (12GB VRAM) graphics card, but I am unable to render using the GPU in Daz3D. When I uncheck the CPU in the render settings, the render finishes instantly with a blank result, and I get the error copied from the log file below.

I cannot render even with just a empty Genesis 9 character in the scene; the issue persists.

DAZ3D is up to date, and my GPU drivers are also up to date.

[WARNING] :: \src\pluginsource\DzIrayRender\dzneuraymgr.cpp(373): Iray [ERROR] - IRAY:RENDER ::   1.0   IRAY   rend error: Cannot render: found no usable devices. Please update your NVIDIA driver (www.nvidia.com) to at least 537.13, or enable CPU rendering.

[ERROR] Iray :: Invalid parameters (NULL pointer).

  • Daz Studio 4.x.x.x? Unfortuantely due to a chnage in the way nVidia compiles the Iray renderer versions that support the new cards it is not possible to add it to DS 4 (without breaking all existing plug-ins and some scripts) - the 50x0 cards can be used in DS 2025 Alpha, which should be available in DIM (if not check the Downlaod filters). Plug-ins.and some scripts will not work, but for the most part you should be able to set your scenes up in DS 4 and then open in DS 2025 for rendering (Mesh Grabber will, if you don't have the Premier plug-ins including Geoemtry Sculptor, have to be baked to the mesh or a morph).

Thanks! DS 2025 solved my problem.
