Ebeneezer's Hair

I've purchased the Ghost of Christmas Bundle and the Scrooge 8.1 Bundle. They look great!
I'm having trouble with Ebeneezer's hair. One set suggested using dforce Ricardo Hair.
I can't find any way to adjust the hair, his hat or night cap so the hair will fit.
Did I miss something? Or can you recommend a different hair style?! There are a few shown in promos.
I used the FH sideburns for his facial hair. I like them.

Depending on how the hairs are created, you may be able to hide some parts of it easily but I don't know if short hairs use a lot of bones like longer ones does.
If that's not possible, a dFormer with a weight map is an excellent tool to hide hairs under a hat or something. That video by Daz 3D shows how to add a dFormer and how to use a weight map with it. In your case, you'll have to paint every part of the hair you need to hide:
Another solution is Hat Check:
https://www.daz3d.com/hat-check-for-genesis-8
The video on Hat Check for G8 page is based on the Genesis 9 version, but they all work using the same principle.
If you're willing to do two renders and if you're confortable merging them together in Photoshot or Affinity Photo or GIMP or whatever image editing software you're using, the last solution coming to mind is doing two renders:
- one with the hair poking through the hat
- one without the hair at all.
And then, you merge both, erasing the poking hairs.
Are you sure you have the right hair? I believe they would have been referring to linday's Riccardo hair for G3M, which is non-dforce and has presets for a bald top with only the sides showing. That looks more like the dforce Rizado hair that comes with the Scrooge bundle.
I am afraid I would just use something simple like the Hair tools in Daz Studio or Blender to create just a few strands of hair peeking out the sides and back under the hat for much of your art and use a full featured haire when he has his hat off...
I'm using the dForce Ricardo hair that came with the Scrooge Bundle.
I decided to buy the SY Hat and Hair Helper for Genesis 8 Males. I think someone recommended it in another thread.
It was easy to use, and I think it did a good job. There might be one spot that needs a touchup.
I'll look at it after I finish my dinner.
That's Rizado hair that comes with the bundle... I suspect your posts may have been auto-corrected, but as long as you're happy with the final results, that's all that matters..
Thanks again, everyone, for your support.
