I got the Bluetooth Blues

You might know I lost total hearing in my right ear. My left ear works.
I was fortunate to get a wonderful hearing aid set. It works with my iPhone. There is a microphone in my right ear. It passes sound over to the left ear. (Crossover).
It took 4 months before I was able to get my hearing aids. In the meantime I bought a 30 ft HDMI cable to run across the room from the TV to my recliner. I placed the soundbar next to my left side. That works pretty well. But it can be really aggravating.
I wanted more freedom. It was time to update my TV to handle Bluetooth. I bought a Bluetooth transmitter for a decent price, and connected to my soundbar.
I'd had the soundbar for a few years but only used the HDMI connection. I finally figured how to properly pair the Soundbar to my TV.
Then it was time to get silly. I bought a bluetooth headphone set. I should have known I'd get feedback.
The sound in the right ear is picked up by the mircrophone and transmitted to the left ear. Feedback!
So now I've ordered a headphone/microphone setup. You can remove the piece from one side so you only have the one ear piece.
This will be handy if I ever go back to doing my YouTube videos. I won't have that big table-top microphone taking up valuable desk space.

profoundly deaf in my right ear from birth, I don't even bother with it
just stick things I want to hear like phones on or in my left ear
I cannot place direction of sound to save myself
I do hear stereo but not the way it's meant to be, swapping ears on a headphone set I hear stuff I never heard before in songs, it's freaky, prefer surround sound speakers as can get spacial sense by moving my head
I have a friend who ended up in a similar situation for a wacky reason. He had a television with stereo sound, and one of his speakers had stopped working. He took the television to a repair shop which claimed to have done the repair. But all they really did was wire the left speaker to the right, so the sound meant for one of the speakers was coming out of both speakers.
My friend believed them when they said it was fixed, until he connected it to his brand new video game system. At the time, this might have been a Super Nintendo Entertainment System. But I’m not sure because I believe he preferred Sega. Anyway, he noticed the audio sounded very strange. And this was because the video games had this new thing called stereo sound, and he was only hearing half of the sounds.
He did bring the television back to the repair shop where they swore this mishap was unintentional and they replaced some type of circuit board this time. I guess that costs more than just wiring two speakers together. Anyway, his television was repaired properly this time and he lived happily ever after as a parsley farmer.
a parsley farmer
sounds like hydroponics, are you sure it was parsley leaf?
