OtherKind: Shadow Kin HD for Genesis 9 - How To Use Some of the Files? (Solved)

I bought and installed OtherKind: Shadow Kin HD for Genesis 9 (https://www.daz3d.com/ly-otherkind-shadow-kin-hd-for-genesis-9) three days ago .  I’m a hobbyist and the multitude of options in materials and shaping will keep me busy trying to figure them out but the files in the Documents tab mystify me as to how to use them.  They are not files that open a document or provide a pop-up window of information.  Any advice/help will be much appreciated.  Thanks.

    Think of those document files as dividers for when you are looking at that product in it's "Content Library" location.  In Smart Content they don't serve a purpose, other then the "LY OK Shadow Kin ! Morph Guide" maybe. To see what I'm talking about, from Smart Content right click on one of the document files and choose "Show Asset in /Content Library /Mapped Folder.

    I create very elaborate folder setups for my characters.  There are dividers and notes for everything (it feels). This works great if you are old school like me and look at everything in the content folder tree. However, those all go to waste if you are using smart materials. The only goal is to HAVE fun. So check things out in the Content Library tab, see how things are set up.  Go back to smart content and go crazy.
    there is no wrong way to set things up. Remember that all makeup can only be seen when doing a render preview.

    Thanks for your quick replies and for reminding me that accessing some content from the Content Library is a better way for some products than is Smart Content.  I usually use Smart Content, as I have so far with OtherKind: Shadow Kin HD for Genesis 9, but I am aware that some products are organized for best use in the Content Library.  I just need to remember that more often.  Again, thanks!
