Application compatibility

Hi everyone.
I'm wondering if it's worth getting a Maya license. I've always worked with 3ds Max, but Daz no longer supports it.
However, Maya's support only covers Genesis 8 and earlier, and only up to version 2024.
However, it seems that Blender has better compatibility.
I'd like to hear opinions from people with experience using these applications to get a clearer picture of the viability of each.
Thanks for reading.
Regards.

I have not tried to export any DAZ assets into Maya so no help there.
Blender is a terrible thing to use, but if you can get a long with the UI it's not that bad even though it has lots of odd things going on, on the other hand, the Diffeomorphic exporter is great and does a very good job on getting your DAZ assets into Blender and all for free, any bugs are usually fixed very fast, so if you can live with Blenders UI it might be a good solution.
I think the best thing would be to get the trial version of Maya and test how well it works and if you think it will do what you need it to do (when it comes to DAZ assets).
