Giant Sequoias

Hello, I was looking to purchase the attached to add to my Christmas scene. Are these actual 3D rendered Giant Sequoias? Or is this software to make my own?  I'm looking to add these to my Christmas village scene.

I'm envious. The giants of California and the Grand Canyon were my biggest bucket list items. I finally managed the canyon in 2011. Still hoping to manage the others someday.

"Locally" to me there's Calaveras Big Trees State Park, on California State Route 4. Definitely worth a visit. Being in their presence is a humbling experience.

  • We saw these giants in Yosemite on honeymoon. In the middle of deep snow. Never laughed so much in my life as when we tried to walk over the snow to the trees. The snow was 5-6ft deep, and we had neither snow shoes nor skis.

Also saw Death Valley & the Grand Canyon that visit too. Also Las Vegas, but we didn't stop there except for fuel.

    Regards,

    Richard

Back in '95 while on my 'round-the-USA motorcycle trip starting at Washington DC, I worked my way across northern US & lower Canada to Vancouver, went up to The Yukon, then came back to the US and down the California coast.  I came through the redwoods and took some little dirt side roads through the big trees.  Mouth agape.  Stopped at the base of one of them, nobody but me in the area, put down my kickstand, got off to take a picture, and my heavily loaded, top-heavy bike fell over into the loose red dust.  Spent a half hour unpacking the bike to get it upright again and reloading all my travel & camping bundles.  Never did get the picture I wanted.frown  Big trees!surprise

Stopped a few miles down the road at a place called "Angel Falls", parked on the paved parking lot, walked through the woods amongst the trees toward the high narrow waterfall.  The mist from the falls drifted through the big trees causing thick moss to grow everywhere on the ground & tree trunks.  Moss & mushroom covered, fallen giants blocking some paths.  A real fairyland.  What I imagined Lothlorien would be.  Half expected to see Galadriel on the other side of a big tree trunk.smiley

I have always wanted for decades to visit the Giant Sequoias, and the beaches, especially beaches with seals and such but have not yet done so.
