Mapped Daz folders change "Date Modified" on program start

Hi all,
Is there a way to prevent Daz from updating the "Date Modified" data in Windows Explorer every time it starts up?
This happens only to folders which are mapped. If I remove a base directory or folder from the list within Daz Studio, it no longer updates this information every time the program starts. If I re-add the base directory, it begins updating the Date Modified in Window Explorer again.
Obviously this presents problems when trying to access recent files in other applications ie Photoshop, Gimp, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think I have ever seen that.
Where is it writing that - in the log?
And what is it actually doing?
No, not in the log. If you open your Windows Explorer, meaning just the Windows file manager, there is a column called "Date Modified". This is the date and time stamp that Windows records as the last time the file/folder was changed. Daz appears to be updating that "changed" status in the Windows file manager, exactly as if it had actually opened the folder and made a change to it. In fact nothing has been changed. This occurs every time I start the Daz application, and it happens ONLY to folders at the top level which are currently "Base Directories" in Daz Studio. If I remove a Base Directory inside Daz, then close, and then restart the application, that particular folder which I have just removed as a Base Directory will retain its last modified date, but all other folders which are still Base Directories will once again update to the exact time I re-started the Daz application.
Example: I start Daz at 8:00 AM. I open the Windows File Manger and look at the list of folders that are mapped as Base Directories. Every single one of those folders will say 8:00 AM in the "Date Modified" column. Now, I remove "Folder A" as a Base Directory in Daz. I close the Daz application. At 8:05 AM I start Daz again. In the Windows File Manager, all of my Base Directory folders will say 8:05 AM in the Last Modified column EXCEPT "Folder A", which will still say 8:00 AM. I re-add "Folder A" as a Base Directory, close Daz, then wait until 8:10 AM and restart Daz. In the Windows File manager, all of the Base Directory folders will have 8:10 AM as Last Modified, including "Folder A" because I had re-added it to the Base Directories.
This only happens on Daz startup. If I modify a folder because I'm working on a product in that folder, Daz will update the Last Modified for that folder independently, and Windows File manager may, or may not, have caught up with that update. This is an anomoly I see when I use Daz to open the Windows File manager to, for instance, change the image map on a texture by browsing to the runtime or anywhere else on my hard drive to find an image I want to use, for example. The version of Windows File manager that opens is not quite the same as if I open it from the desktop. I suspect that Daz has a problem communicating with Windows File manager somehow. Anyway, that's the correlation I see.
What is the consequence of that Daz Studio updates the folders?
