    (Though since so far it's matched 2-for-2, I do consider it *marginally* better because I can possibly anticipate what's coming, which means I have a shot at not missing the outlet store discount.)

    Good point. Two outlet store discounts are definitely better than one. I got some nice stuff yesterday.

    I'm seeing lower discounts today, so I assume something was broken yesterday. I certainly wasn't seeing price floors, even when they were advertised. I'm not getting anywhere near them today, while yesterday I was mostly under them. I assumed that was after the 20% cart discount and my tokens - the prices were good enough that I didn't bother validating the maths. Today I've validated it and it seems correct. I guess that makes Saturday better from Daz's perspective.

    I swear the first coupon showed a $3.99 floor me for yesterday. I wouldn't even have bothered with a cart if it had said $5.99, which I only saw from the second set of coupons onwards (new releases, 5 wishlists, starter bundles). I was up when the store changed over, so maybe the promo was later changed.

    Although the first coupon did state a min price of 5.99, it was not applying that in the cart. All the items I bought where for less than that. The final price of one of them was just 74 cents.

    30% off a new Wishlist item is only 30% off, when the new ones have no starting discount.

    More Than likely version 5 was a scrapped version we never got to mess with. Internally something or a concept design would have already been referred to as 5 and the version that made it past a pre-alpha state was then the next numbered version past the one that was scrapped.

    I thought the big number was based on the qt framework used for development and qt5 aged out - qt6 appeared - before a qt5 version of DS was released.

    Yes, as far as the new version(s) go - that DS 4 used Qt 4 was more of a coincidence, but it does serve as a useful marker for compatibility (changing Qt version breaks plug-in compatibility).

    Just a friendly reminder to logout of your account and then login again.  Purchases I made in the wee hours this morning were not showing up as "Purchased" on the product pages, even when I refreshed the page.  I thought for a moment that I dreamed about making the purchase.  smiley  Loging out and in brought me back to reality. Wait....this is reality right?

    So far, I put two items from my wishlist in the cart, used the code... and they've been sitting like that for the last couple of hours while I'm asking myself whether I really want to buy them or just wait for some other sale. I don't think I'll need those products soon, so I might as well hold off until March Madness, right? ;)

    I guess issues with the sales and the 6h changeover tapped me out on bigger purchases, but OS and QG are still extremely exciting for me, so I have my fingers crossed for the OS code returning today, and if not... There's always Monday QG changeover.

    I was hoping they would repeat that 90% off Tools one at an earlier time today - I missed it yesterday because it was night for me (1am to 7am). Ah well, maybe tomorrow. 

    ETA: But I did do well on the EARLY-FRIDAY and EARLY-SATURDAY coupons, also the Outlet one yesterday, so mustn't grumble.

    @MelanieL I also missed the tools deal. I find Sundays at the end of a promotion often have some very good deals, so tomorrow could be good. I made out like a bandit on the Black Outlet coupon. And Monday is both December 1 and CyberMonday. So, that could be exciting, too.

    Yeah, same. And looking at the latest supposedly awesome deal, I can't even care that it's nonfunctional.

    Ah, well. Last year's sale was a bust for me, too, so it's not like I had my hopes up. Granted it might turn around tomorrow, but I'm kind of over it with all the issues, and them structuring the whole thing so that if you dare to get solid sleep, you miss out.

    I barely looked today. The frustration overwhelms my desire to acquire. I slept through one offer and didn't care. I bought enough to use in the last few days. The fixed price minimum is a real deterrent too. I'm happy rendering what I have today. I hope PAs do Christmas gifts again this year. That is always a fun highlight of the year.

    Same. I thought the improvement was going to be a second pass at the outlet deal. That was the only deal yesterday I REALLY liked and I was looking forward to it again. I thought maybe they would add extra items to the list. No, just a lamer discount code that was ruined because of the stupid discount floor making the really old items on my wishlist still way too old. I'm not paying $1.11 for V4 items on my wish list or some old stand alone figures I still think are reasonably neat looking. I do t want to pay the price of a newer item for an old item I will probably have to figure out new Iray shades for to make look decent in Iray.

    If my memory serves me right from the last several years, the pre-black Friday sale has usually been pretty good, the black Friday sale has been lame due to bugs and worse offers than the pre-black Friday offers, and the cybermonday has been pretty great, like buy this and this to get 30% off giftcards.

    I'm just looking forward to new Outlet and Quickgrab items on Monday, that is my favorite part of the store anymore. 

    Really good deals on some Stonemason items right now, with the 60% off code they are 95% off!

    The "early" codes have been useful at least, and there are some deals to be found. The attached "almost outlet" cart uses only a single token.
