Well. Old offer still on the main page, new tile leads to it. Looks like the web team is 0-for-2.
The new deal is supposed to be extra % off my wishlist but nothing on the wishlist is showing discounted at all. And it does not discount if I add to cart either. 0 for 3. Whoever is in charge of the store website needs to get their act together.
I hate those too.
On top of that, for the past weeks, for some reason, Daz is very slow to update in my neck of the woods. In forums, hours earlier people would have reported a broken page, mods would have already said it's fixed, and I would wake up, switch my PC on (so no caching issue) and still see a broken page for at least an hour or two, so I really have no clue what offer is valid and should be working at any given moment. At the moment, rotating banner is showing 30% off 3 new releases and extra 50% off 5 wishlist items, but the link leads to the offer with the code... Neither of them seems to be working for me (and I think others are having the same problem?).
And I consider the 6-hour rotating sales the worst for so many reasons (people missing out because of the time zones, sales being broken which leaves much less time to shop etc.). I would have been happy to use that 60% off coupon, but it's gone now, and the new sale seems to be broken and will likely need reporting & fixing, I'm about done with shopping at Daz today. It's Black Friday. Offers are everywhere. And Daz's practices of 6-hour sales don't create the sense of urgency. They create the desire to shop elsewhere. One of my favorite creators has 50% off on their products. Another site has $1 deals. And so on. (Edited to add: those two are not Daz-related; sorry if I got your hopes up.)
On a day like this, when everyone's fighting for people's attention and wallets, Daz defitinitely didn't put their best foot forward.
So instead of being frustrated, I'm off to check all the other offers on the web today.
The current offer is the one on the rotating banner but we're likely missing the coupon to use it.

Either way, I came back only to answer to DMs and add a disclaimer to my other post. Off to do some non-Daz related shopping! I hope that everyone will get some good deals, if not here then elsewhere.
Since the sales seem to be janky and broken, there's nothing to do here. Maybe it'll be fixed later? Hope everyone who celebrated TG had a happy one.

Little Dude is still going strong from yesterday (yay routine disruption), so the best deal for me is going to be him sleeping hard and solid when he does finally run out of steam. :)

I'm off to Rendo, where they have a 50% off everything sale today. OK, 50% off isn't much by Daz standards, but it's a lot for Rendo, and (more importantly) when they say they're knocking 50% off everthing, they actually DO knock 50% off everything.
I'm not buying anything from the "Shopping" artist stores until the % discount they give matches the discount they say they're going to give.

OK so the two coupon codes apparently are MID-FRIDAY (works on 5 older products from the wishlist) and BLACK-FRIDAY (works on 3 new releases from the whislist).
Try MID-FRIDAY works magic on higher-priced items.

For what it's worth. Seems a pretty tame sale. I suppose it'll get better by Christmas.
I'm actually having a lot of fun... watching this whole mess. Wrong codes. People not checking the reporting thread and complaining. And so on. It's quite amusing and entertaining.
As for shopping, I mostly did it elsewhere so far, but I might get tempted by the outlet offer... IF we get the right codes and rules on it soon.

I think today's debacle re discount codes is inspired by this classic sketch:
I've just found a solution to seeing the old discount codes.
The problem appears to be something to do with the old verion of the page being cached, so when you try to view it you see the previous version. So what you have to do is con your browser into thinking you're asking for a brand new page. You can do this by adding something to the URL thus:
https://www.daz3d.com/black-sale-massive-sale?x=99
Just put any old random characters after the ?x= and you should get the latest page. If you get the same problem when this set of coupons runs out, just pick a new number, or try ?y=99 instead.

So frustrating. I'm a Daz newbie so this was to be my first big sale purchase. I spent over an hour planning out my purchase based on the early friday code and the "Shopping"/"Still Shopping" extra 20%s. With about half an hour left in the stated time limit, I went to add the early-friday code to my cart and it wouldn't work. Tried a bunch of things (including unloading and reloading the cart - fortunately I still had all the items in their own tabs in my browser). Then reloaded the sale page and it showed about 15 minutes left, but the new mid-friday wishlist codes were up instead. So clearly someone at Daz messed up the timers. And lost out on selling to me.
I guess I'll go see if the 3rd party sellers have functional sales going on.
Oh, and other lesson for the day which most of you probably figured out already: Fill up my wishlist to be ready for future wishlist sales. (If I decide to try my luck here again.)
