Is there a way to always have the Daz camera center its axis on what I'm looking at?

Is there a way to always have the Daz camera center its axis on what I'm looking at? I always finding myself having to press View Frame / View reset every time I click a new object because the Daz camera center of view will always be set to the previous object I was messing with. Just wondering if there is an option that automatically does this for me.

Thanks!

You could set the camera to 'Point at' your object.

  • I think the desire is to have the camera point at and frame the currently selected item, the way the Poser Face and hand cameras do.

Lets say im posing a character's hand, when I'm rotating the view (as in me, what I am looking at in Daz) to make sure I get their fingers where I want them and look around for no clipping, my view will rotate on an axis that has nothing to do with the position of the hand. So I have to select the hand then click aim/reset/aim to get it so my view will rotate with the position of the hand.

Then if I move over to another object like another characters hand, my view will still be using the axis of the previous characters hand so when I rortate down to look under the hand my view will do that weird oblong swoop. So I have to click aim/reset/aim again.

And repeat for everything I'm working on.

Can't just be me that finds this frustrating, no?
