Help with Daz Studio 4.9 Beta

I put these questions on the official thread but they got completely ignored.

Can anyone help me with these please. I don't like how it is at the moment and wish to get it more like my Daz 4.8.

1. How can I get my layout to show up in Windows/Workspace?

2. How can I get items to sort in Alphabetical order in Content Library?

3. I prefer my content Library list at the top and items for the selected item underneath - not side by side as they are now. How do I set this up?

    No that's not what I need. That just puts the tabs along the top. My tabs are down either side.

    3) Rght click the content library tab itself and select show as list or show as tree; that puts the folders above the images.

    2) My stuff is in alphabetical order, maybe try re importing?

    1) I'm not sure what yer asking here? Are you tying to change the work layout itself? or as panels missing?

    Thans for answer to number 3 - Got that how I want it.

    I'm trying to load the layout I have in 4.8 into 4.9 but it doesn't show in the Window/Layout tab of 4.9.

    The regular 5 layouts all load from me, custom ones might have to be recreated from scratch.

    Mines a custom one.

    Still can't get the Content Library in alphabetical order though, and I use that more than I use Smart Content.

    You probably can't see your layout because it's stored in a folder not shared with the beta.

    I just tried saving a layout with DS4.8 and it created a "user layouts" folder in C:\Users\<me>\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\Studio4\

    My guess is there's a similar folder there for the beta, maybe just copying the "user layouts" in it would work.

    I'd bug report the alphabetical. Sounds like yer definitly got something going on there.

    If the content is not on C drive, then that could be the alphabetical order problem...

    Really? My content is on an External Hard Drive. Never have that problem with 4.8.

    We are leaving this thread for technical questions, since the main threads are had to track, but if you think you have an actual bug please mention it in the official thread as well as here. Non technical posts will be moved to the main threads so that this one remains clean.

    On the ordering, we have a few seen people report this in earlier builds - sometimes, I think, it has reflected the current OS seort order but I don't think that hjas been the issue in all cases.

    I have my content split between two drives, in 4.8 and it is alphabetical on one and not on the other.

    It does seem to be more location related than anything else, though.
