viewing content as list is a problem

Feeling stupid again but I am finding viewing my content as a list to be a problem. Whatever I do i seem to get this view which does not allow me to see the content and select it...Any one any ideas please

    I don't understand.

    Do you not want to view your content as a list and it goes back to that view?

    Or you want to view it as a list, but cant see anything?

    If the latter try to make a screenshot of your whole Content Library pane without the local menu showing.

    Hi. 

    Had to leave this question for a while, sorry… SS01 shows the default tree list. SS02 shows the selection which works but is not what I want. SS03 Show what I get when I switch to the tree view. So I can’t seem to show my content as list , when I open DS the default for content view is as a tree and nothing I do via the preference seems to change things. There are options for List/Tree/and side by side and occasionally these will work to alter the view but when DS is closed and restarted it reverts to the tree view. What I would like is to set DS to open with the list view consistently. Any ideas please?

    This was an issue a while back, but I thought it was fixed some time ago.
