1 download folder, daz dim on two computers?

setting up my seocnd computer and instead of trying sync the libaries which are multi-tbs 
wondered if i could just update the stuff on each computer from one down load with both dims set to look at the same download folder?

    I've never tried, but this should work in theory:

    • Put the downloads folder somewhere both computers can access, and set preferences in both DIM to use that as package archive 
    • Keep separate manifest archives folders for each DIM
    • Set both DIM not to remove the downloads after install 
    • Download a file from one DIM, then open the second one: the new file should show up as "ready to install" for both (I'd open the second one offline to avoid the time loading all products ready to download)

    always carefull of the remove downloads because a couple times over the years it has reset itself  and had to redown some, just a few fortunately. The current download foldier is just under two TB 16,000 product files plus their 16,000 dsx files.

    I assumed each computer would use it's own file filder with it's own dim.
