AP Wild West Items...
I'm normally a sucker for Wild West Items, so I was thriled to see a whole new set of settings in todays store, especially since it's from the usually reliable AcharyaPolina.
And Then I looked at the pictures. The buidings themselves look okay, if a bit over the top in the weathering... but only is all of the smoothly modeled and plastic looking molded letter signage glaringly out of place both in an old western setting and in comparison to all of the heavily weathering on the buildings themseves, but "Sherrif Office" is both gramatically incorect without the posessive "'s" and would have been better as simply "Sherriff", while the out of register letters in Saloon make absolutely no sense given how they were placed on the structure. Please, if anyone has already bought these items, please tell me that all of that awful signage and the equally out of period cross in the church can be easily hidden... Please? I like the buildings, but why whe artist didn't just use period correct painted signage or something equally rustic is completely baffling.

Comments
The Sheriff Office text is a separate surface/subobject on the building and is easily hidden. The texture of the building doesn't have any discoloration or connection to the text, so hiding it leaves no sign.
The Saloon text is also easily hidden with no lingering texture, as is the sign block it's on.
Edit: Just checked the church, same deal with the cross.
All easy to remove!
VERY good to know! Thanks!
I looked at these Wild West items and assumed they were intended as toon scenery.
