Is it possible in DAZ Studio to import an animated or movie background? like we can import a still photo for the background. Cheers

    These do it - but specific videos only (it's a script that shifts the frames along with the timeline). You could (maybe) write your own script nd then import your own movies? https://www.daz3d.com/video-backgrounds--beach-01-and-02

    However, it's easier - and prob gives better results - to render on a transparent background and use "movie editing software" (or photoshop etc) to add the video backgound in post

    https://www.daz3d.com/texture-animator might work for you. You can attach a series of image to flat plane with it. (I haven't used it in a while so I hope I'm remembering it correctly.)
