  I'm not certain that these frebies will have a use. Anyway I "bought" them....

  I'm extremely curious about Daz business model : are these everyday discounts do prefigure another character iteration ?

  Do they need cash for Daz6 or whatever ?

  I would love a little more transparency, if possible.

  Is version 8 (the one being offered for free) a new one? I bought version 7 in November of 2022, so it's new to me, but I was just curious if this version was previously available.

  Run Windows in a virtual machine.  Install free VirtualBox and buy a Windows 11 license from Macheist for $10, and you would be set, presuming you have the disk space.
  
  I ran Poser on a Linux box for years this way....

  the page for the addon has gone missing - i think the PA/daz prepared the addon for tomorrow and linked it on the base product, but retired it since it's not for today...
