Volumetrics showing up as Black Cubes in iRay

so I'm using @Sickleyield 's Mysterious Magic VDB effects, and everything I load shows up as an opaque cube (Grey in Filament or other view, black in iRay), rather than the effect desired.  I have uninstalled/reinstalled the product to no avail.  I don't remember how I solved this before.

    @felis : 4.24.0.3 Premier

    Richard, yes, as far as I know -- I don't know how current "current" is, but unless it's changed in the last week or so, it's up to date as I have de-installed/re-installed my entire library as a last-ditch effort to solve the facial pose control issues with 8.1 (you know the ones :) )

    Hello! I'm sorry you are having trouble.

    I don't think even the placer objects for these were opaque cubes, so to get that result I think you may have an installation problem. Can you uninstall and reinstall the product with Daz Install Manager?

    How did you install the product?

    How are you loading the product in to the scene?

    Those little black meshes remind me of the boxes DS will show if it cannot find the mesh that is being refered to by the DUF file

    Did that, actually!  Hiya, @SickleYield!  I love your stuff!

    Anyway, it WAS working prior to having had to re-install my entire library; re-installed via DIM; wondering if I have to install via DC (from within the program).  It's quite bizarre.  Are there any dependencies it has which might need to be re-installed as well?

    Hi, @Mattymanx!  installed via DIM.  Loading into the scene?  Just double-clicking on the Prop.   Had this problem prior but don't remember what I did to fix it (guess I'm gettin' AULD).  I don't get any error dialog popping up saying it can't find anything...

    You said you had to reinstall everthing. Did you then also reinstall Default Ressources?

    EVERYthing.  I will retry re-de-re-installing Default resources, but it's showing as present...

    Can you use other VDB files?

    ay CRAP, the files are showing up as encrypted again....

    Thanks, folks -- I should just check the logs first.  Just removed all the .enc files; I'll reinstall whatever breaks (if anything).  Should probably rebuild metadata at this point.

    After removing the product, removing remnant .enc files (which I know weren't being used since they haven't been accessed in about a month and a half) and re-installing the product fixed the issue.
