Comfy Corner Daz Studio

Hi all,

I need to know if the pillows and cusions as seen in the product page are individual items or props so that I could arrange them to my liking and my needs and not as a group that does not allow individual items to separate from the group.

I will appreciate any information that will help me before I make a purchase.

Thanks.

I don't have the product, but reading the ReadMe file at Renderosity (where it was originally sold) the pillows are one single prop, so it would appear that they cannot be individually moved around.

As long as they aren't welded together and don't have gaps where theya re hidden you could use a weight mapped dForm to move each - apply the dForm to the stack of pillows (and name it so you know which pilow it belongs to). Tools>Geometry Editor (not Geometry Sculptor, if you have that, though it would be another option), click on the pillow you want to edit (to seelct one or more polygons), then right-click>Geometry Selection>Select Connected; with any luck that should select the whole pillow and nothing else,  Tools>Node Weightmap Brush, in the Tool Settings pane click the Add map button next to Influence Weights, right-click>Weight Editing>Fill Selected and fill with 100%, right-click>Geometry Selection>Invert Selection, right-click>Weight Editing>Fill Selected and this time enter 0. Now whatever you do to the dForm node (rotate, relative to the base, scale, relative to the base, or translate) will apply to just that one pillow.
