New in the store Dynamic Wind Rigs for dForce Cloth

What does this do that a normal dForce Wind Node does not do? Or is this just settings presets?

    My understanding is it is settings preset, presumably both for the dForce item as well as in the simulation pane.

    But it would have been nice if it was more clear what the content is.

    The product description litterally says it's a collection of animated wind presets, as well as utility simulation presets for the clothes.

    The video on the product page also gives an example of what each rig produces on a sample cloth.

    Does it create the wind node? Does it help with placing the node? I'm guessing it doesn't. But I don't know.

     I watched the video in the hope that it would show the content of the asset shown sitting in the content library and being launched. The video shows the results but not the process. Toward the end, it shows simulation settings. But that's not the content of the asset. That's just an existing screen.

    I prefer not to buy assets that are just things that set a handful of parameters I can set myself. I'd rather just learn how to set them myself. And that's why I want a clear statement of what this asset offers.

    And I understand, all scripts could be done manually. There's a difference between something like Look At Me II that will modify dozens and dozens of parameters with a few clicks. And something that will modify just a handful. And while there isn't a hard and fast line between which I am happy to buy and which I'm reluctant to buy. I need a general idea of where this one falls and currently I have no idea how it does what it does.

    It says "for dForce cloth simulation" on main promo pic and in description, so likely not.

    It should work with "dForce cloth hair" like Linday's, though.
