Ashendun Hair For G8F and G8.1 Corrupted Files

I tried to intall this via DIM and it fails every time. So I tried to install it manually and am getting a ERROR 0x80070570 - file or directory is corrupted & unreadable, when I try and manually install the runtime folder.. The rest of the files install just fine, but I have no access to the materials, or the style and wind morphs.

Morphs would not depend on the Runtime folder, they would be in the data folder. I just downloaded manually from my Product Library; 7Zip showed no errors and the files looked to be present and correct when I did a manual extraction to a dummy folder (I already have it installed through Connect).
one of the files it is showing as corrupted is aprashe_spec jpg. The hair itself loads but there is nothing showing under the materials, or the styles. The file names (materials, styles} show, but there is nothing in them. I have downloaded directly from DIM (uninstalled and tried to reinstall multiple times, it fails every time. Downloaded manually , from my products library same thing happens, but it generates the corrupted files error.
Is it Daz Studio or the archive tool you use to do the unpacking that is throwing the error?
DIM just refuses to install it. To manually install, I just download the files, then drag and drop into the My Daz Studio. This is where the error message happens. But I do this all the time with 3rd party products and no issues. I had the same issue with Fantasy Bow And Arrow Collection Vol.1 for Genesis 8 but was able to download that manually with no problem.
You are dragging the folders frominside the Content folder in the zip into content directory you are using (My Library or whatever)? What is the exact message you are getting - ideally a screenshot to give context.
Yes I am copying the data file into the data file in my DAZ library and the runtime file into the runtime file and the people file into the people file. I've dont this thousands of times. I will have to wait til my render finishes before I can screenshot it so later tonight or tomorrow.
Is there space on the destination drive? Have you tried a different archive tool, such as 7Zip?
Plenty of room on the drive. I've installed several other things since. Not sure if I can open it with anything else. I just click on the manual install file, and chrome opens it and its already unzipped? there isn't an optioin to unzip, its already open when the folder is downloaded.
Okay i figured out what you meant. I tried dowloading the offline package (I usually just click on manual install, the one to the lefot of the daz install manager button. So I downloaded the offline package and opened it with 7zip and I am getting the same error.
The offline package is for installing through Daz Connect (within Daz Studio), it is an encrypted file so that wouldn't work. It sounds as if your browser is set to open zips rather than save them to a downloads folder (which is potentially not a good idea) - I am not sure how you would change that in Chrome.
I also have no idea lol. I did try it in firefox and had the same issue. I'll play around a bit more, but if I can't get it to work I'll have to return it. Which would suck, because I lovethe hair lol.
I have installed it with DIM years ago. I downloaded the manual file, and it looks fully ok.
When you say DIM refuses to install, what does the DIM log then say about it?
