Recent versions of Daz Studio and the Bridge to Bryce 7.1

Guys and gals Im sorry to initiate yet another thread with beginner level questions, but honestly over the years I've forgotten more than I remember.
Quick question: Does your DS bridge still work in both directions?
Way way back when Bryce 7.1 was first released, I know the DS versions at the time were very compatible with Bryce. At some point, with DS constantly being developed, at some point I vaguely recall that as least for me, the bridge started working only in one direction, DS to Bryce, and not vice versa.
Currently, when I try to send objects from Bryce to DS via the Bridge, it asks me to choose which version of DS I desire, yet no versions show up on the list. OR the dropdown itself is broken.
Maybe I've missed a step, installed the applications in the wrong order?
I feel confident Horo has an answer, but I dont think he's running Bryce or DS on a windows 11 OS, so perhaps anyone else with advice could help me out?
It's not the end of the world if the bridge only functions in one direction, just want to be sure.
Thanks, Commune!

Rashad - good to see you here. No, I do not have an answer. Using the bridge from Bryce to Studio or the other way around is long ago. If I need something I have from Studio, I usually export from Studio as OBJ and the import that OBJ to Bryce and save it in a library.
Thanks, Horo. I promise not to ask this question again in 3 more years haha!
My Bryce and DAZ Studio PC is still on Windows 7 Pro, so I'm using the most recent version of DS that still works there (DS4.21.0.5 Public Build) and can confirm that the bridge still works for me using the process I posted about in 2020 HERE. But of course that only works for me because Bryce correctly identifies that version of DS is installed, but incidentally does not offer me any choice of DS version even though I still have DS4.9 General Release too.
A Google search also brought up THIS THREAD, where a very familiar-looking person was having a similar problem in 2018. I have no idea whether the Registry Edit method in that thread is (a) necessary; (b) safe! in Windows 11.
MelanieL!
I had completely forgotten about that thread, and didnt even find it when I was searching. Thank you! I knew there had been an in depth discussion about this somewhere at some point in time.
I'll try the registry trick and see if that helps. Thanks so much!
Good luck!
My version of DS is 4.22. The bridge works both ways. On Windows 11 Digital Storm computer with NVidia card.
