dForce Vector Ops patch

I just bought Vector Ops because I loved the jacket. I was very disappointed when I started using the product. It has no morphing abilities. If the clothes don't fit your character (if they have any morphs applied) there is no way to change it. I even used Fit Control to add morphs to it. I still got mega poke throughts. The hood on the jacket doesent even go up! This product is all fluff and no substance. It needs to be updated.

Have you tried to simulate it?

Can you give an example how it looks?

  • I have not put it in a simulation. I usually don't do those because my computer is so slow. But, here are some screen shots. This is a morphed figure, muscular. As you can see, the clothes are usless on it. No post editing will clear that up.

    Looks weird.

If you with the jacket selected in Scene tab, in Parateres enable 'Show hidden' and then click 'Currently Used', what does it then show?

I would expect an autogenerated morph for the character, but doesn't really look so in your images.

  • I did not see a "show hidden" option. But here is what it looks like.

Did you try a Playrange simulation, starting from the base shape and going to the desired shape?

It sounds as if the whole, or most, of the item has a rigidity group aplied which stops morphs from projecting into it - that would stop Fit Control from doing anything (it applies "invisible" morphs to the figure which get projected into the clothes, if possible).

If you click the 4 lines in the corner of the group, that is a menu, where Preferences has 'Show hidden' (se attached).

But it has 'Redirect Transforms', which it should have.

Which character is it, and if you dial her out gradually can you then see the cloth fit better?

If you on the same character fit other clothes, do they then fully follow?

  • Felis, I found the Show Hidden. I'm not sure how to "dial" the character out. I also tried to do a simulation and it all exploded. See Screen shot.

With Show Hidden enabled, and click Currently Used will show all the changes and morphs there are on the clothing. One of the morphs should be an autogenerated morph to match the character, which it apparently don't do.

For dialing the character out, select the character in Scene tab and click Currently Used it will show the morph that is on the character, and if the character is a single morph you can dial the slider back towards 0 and see if the clothes fit when dialing it back.

  • Oh I understand you now. Thank you very much.
