Falling and *curling* papers?

Does anyone happen to know if there are any simple props of falling pieces of paper that are naturally bending or folding?

I know about these products:

 https://www.daz3d.com/low-poly-paper-piles-merchant-resource

 https://www.daz3d.com/fsl-fantasy-clutter-books-scrolls-accessories

https://www.daz3d.com/tossed-office-documents

but I'm looking for papers that would just be curling slightly as they fall. I could probably make them in Blender or whatnot, but I have a project I need to finish quickly and it would help if they were UV mapped too (which I don't quite remember how to do now).

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I've used coflek-gnorg's "miniatures archive inferno" over at Rendo for that.  The actual props are curved sheets of full paper, so you just have to hide the sparks/smoke field and then replace the original textures with a blank paper texture.

You can easily make it by:
    1) Create a primitive plane with proper Scale values and add a D-Former to it. Drag the D-Former handler to deform the plane and tweak D-Former Field's  XYZ Scales; (ss 1 ~ 2)
    2) Give a paper shader preset you like to the plane's surface. (ss3)

Dforce drape a plane over a cylinder

Cybersox: Interesting that no one else has made anything like that in 13 years.  :)   Thank you, it's a bit too pricey for me at the moment but I will keep it in mind!

crosswind and Wendy: Very good ideas, that's probably what I'll do. I should have thought of those myself; guess I'm still a bit off from being sick for a while. Thanks very much!

Yeah, just $3.50 if you're a Rendo Prime member, but a bit pricey otherwise if it isn't on on sale, and it is a pretty specific use item, especially in the way that it's advertised.  That said, there was a period a good while back where there were several artists making "storms" of suspended leaves, bugs, birds, falling debris, and such, but that period didn't last too long, so I'm guessing they were either just too niche to sell well or they ran out of ideas.

Explain "drag the D-Former handler" As nothing I do causes the plane to bend, fold, or mutilate. What tool should be selected?

How many divisions did you give the plane? The dForm acts on vertices, it can't bend edges away from the vertices.

I used Wendy's suggestion, dforce draping it over a cylinder and moving it around a few times to get some variety. I subdivided the plane, then turned it up to 3 and switched the type to Sharp Corners and Edges or whatever that drop-down option is. If you don't do that, the edges will be rounded.

Yes, as Richard said, I think at least you need to give 5 ~ 10 Divisions when creating the primitive plane. Increase X/Z Scales on D-Former Field as needed. (ss1)

Then drag down D-Former handler...or directly change its Y Translate... (ss2)

Finally, drag to move D-Former Field to make different shapes. (ss3)

Spawn D-Form results to create different morphs if you want to (ss4)

With this way, it's very easy to create various shapes as you wish with simple manipulation.

This morning I am seeing a price of $4.50 and when I put it in my cart the price stays the same. And I am not a Prime member.
