Illuminated to specular only

i recently stumbled over an very old bug i think
that on the daz distant light in a timeline animation sometimes some single frames switch from illuminated to specular only
is this a known issue ?

It's not something of which I recall previous mention.
but it happens to the daz distant light sometimes and you have black images then in your image series
Are you rendering in one of the OpenGL modes?
