So, what i see good from this sale:
* Extra free character bundle(Thanks) Seem same code gives 15% off gift card with no buy in? Not the 20% i was hoping, but close enough.
* I'm not fan of the daily stacking for better discounts. But from free items and seems to not reset, then i can't complain on that front. Good change.
What i don't like:
Inconsistency from sales in each year by reusing name concepts in a very different way. Wasn't last year(and in general) 'doorbuster' very cheap items? Now are regular items.
Stacker discounts are 'instead of', not extra discounts over introductory discount. So the stacker discount while better does not carry a 'wow' factor. 55%? Come on, 55% percent for 'recent' PA items may not be every day, but is very common all year long.
More naming inconsistency:
* Debut items are now called Doorbuster
* Last couple days used to be 'Still new' are called 'Debut' (my guess today is 2 days because of the weekend, then it may be just 'last day' doorbuster)
* Slighty more than a day or two still new are called....Still new. Well that's what still new used to be, several prior days, not just one like recently. Make up your mind!!!!!!
Doorbusters used to be bargain-priced special items, like the Golden Ticket items. No idea what Daz is doing there.
Oh, wow. If I hadn't read this thread, I wouldn't have known about the extra Character bundle coupon (I just skimmed over the promo page this morning). I got Toshi 9 with it.
Same... the stacker idea is cool, and I definitely appreciate that it's not a discount requiring a buy-in. I'll be grateful for and appreciate the freebies, including that $6 for D+ folk (and I'm liking the Outlet/QG discount, should QG eventually show up today - grr) but fundage is not currently abundant for further digital splurges.
It's nice of DAZ to start the sale off with a freebie, that's for sure, and if it really works the way it's reading on the promo, it will be extra nice to be getting another one each day, AND have that create bonus discounts. I'm still a bit suspicious if it'll function that way, but the general idea is cool for a 25 year celebration with the members, no?

I couldn't resists the 1 year Daz+ at $51.75. At an average cost of $4.31 a month, and a $6 coupon to use guilt-free each month, not to mention another $6 coupon to start things off on day 1 today, means $78 of DO stuff, even if I buy nothing else. So it felt like old times with a decent deal for a Daz Plus membership finally.
If anyone finds it helpful, the 10% off gift card doesn't seem to be tied to the code. So if you want to do your GC purchase separate from your $6 code (so you can use a gift card on that one, for example) then that's an option. Presumably you could also get multiples, if you really wanted.
Okay, I know Daz is fond of making its own definitions, but... how is something a debut when it's a day old??? The breadth of the English language, all the options available, and THAT is what they picked??

I have a query about the stacking gifts. I got the balloons yesterday and have got the heavy vase today too. Yet, I'm listed as having zero stacker savings while expecting 1 or 2. Is this right or a glitch? It's possible I don't understand the point entirely. Or at all. If it's meant to combine with a purchase to get the stacker gift savings, then I have missed wherever it says this completely and utterly.

We're all in almost the same situation and we're waiting for the moderators to hear back from Daz (likely after someone get back into office).
Theorically, you should have 1 (from what I understand, stackers are only increased at the start of a new day, not when you actually get a freebie), and you can check if it's the case by looking at the discount applied on Doorbuster: if it's 45%, you do have the correct amount of stackers even if the number shown on the sale page is bugged.
Thanks, I'd skipped the 150+ unread comments in the thread and just went to the end to add one. Explains things a bit. I have to confess I'm unlikely to take DAZ up on the offer, with all new stuff being for G9 and me mostly sticking with G8, just want to understand what's going on and verify it's right.
Seems that the standard discount is replaced with the one in the list. I see now, it's not a stacking discount on the standard discount.

Yes, the discounts on the table for your "stacker lever" replace the base discount on each category, it's not an additional discount this time.
Regarding the counter, it's apparently broken in various ways depending on the people (mine is stuck at 0, some have it stuck at 10 or 11, ...). So far the store seems to be giving the right discount level for the number you actually should have though, which is the most important.
So it's basically gonna take 21 days before Stackers reach maximum discount for Daz+ Members of 70% off Doorbusters. They should have called them "Slackers" not Stackers imo.
Maybe in 3 weeks I'll be in a position to participate? Nothing big, but that's normal for me. So is dragging my feet on these promos. Oh well...

...hmm, no Daz+ for a Day this time around, disappointing. No BYOB either.
Also no regular Daz+ new releases in the main store which for this event used to qualify as items that would unlock extra discounts in the Featured Artists sale. Now to get deeper discounts one has to shell out more on a Door Buster, Debut, or Still New release . So it basically feels like any other Daz sale with the gimmick of Stackers.
About half of the Select Daz+ Items are Gen4 era as well. Sad as this used to be one of the best sales events of the year.
Seems the value of membership continues to decline..
Fortunately I only subscribed for a single month for this event .
Since marketing took over Daz+, it has been just another sale.
The coupon is one use only, not one new bundle each day.
I'm also not seeing so much incentive to spend. There's no particular interesting theme to the new releases, it's just the everyday mish mash, and i'm not seeing any good discounts in my wishlist. I grab the freebie and then basically wander around the store aimlessly, looking for something to do, and finding not very much. Strange way to conduct a sale. But maybe I'm just not getting it, or I've got too much stuff already so I don't see the appealing deals. I MISS the proper BYOBs SO MUCH! I would spend hours with these, and discovered so many interesting and cool items ...
The stacker counter is working for me, finally showing the correct 7 this morning, then increased to 8 after I got today's stacker.
