Having problems with dForce Hair

Not sure what I'm doign wrong. I'm trying to run a simulation with "dForce FV Noir Bob Hair for Genesis 9" - there's no wind node in the scene, and I'm running the simulation on a single frame, so no motion. But the hair is swinging to the side as if its being blown. I don't know what I'm doing wrong (or, is that normal)? I just would like the hair to "settle" naturally...

Pre simulation:

After the simulation:

What am I doing wrong? Am I misunderstanding something?

Thanks in advance for any advice...

Sorry, no solution, here, but I do understand the frustration.
I think, dforce itself is to blame here. It just does weird unpredictable things, like floating somewhere aginst gravity, sticking to surfaces and sometimes like having a wind force aplieed although there isn't.
It is frustrating to always have the low shelf tools integrated into DAZ Studio.
DS constantly seems to yell at you to get out and learn Blender instead, for having better renders, animations, clothes and Hair simulations.

In the surface settings, try lowering the collision offset. This can cause strange movements when it is too high.

I couldn't reproduce the issue on my side with the same settings ~~

It seems there's another Hair on your character's head or somewhere, is that correct ?

Playing with this and Collision Dampning eventually worked, thanks!

One of them is the hair cap, the other the hairs. Its still just one, I had the cap selected so you see both.
