Face Transfer Help

So I finally broke down and bought the Face Transfer Unlimited thing to make custom faces for Genesis 8 figures. How do I actually get it to work? I upload image files of the correct size, but I always get a popup that says Failed To Generate. Try a different source image. It's a .jpg or .png, so the format's correct. What am I doing wrong here?
I included a screenshot of the popup message.
Also, here's the link to the product I'm talking about:

Thanks!

  • Have you tried some different photos? Does it fail at save or does it not even do the preview?

  • I've tried different photos. I get the preview in the window, it will put the Genesis 8 figure in the scene, however I get the popup when I click Generate. I uninstalled just about every Genesis 9 thing on my computer to save hard drive space (as I don't use Genesis 9 figures for anything at the moment) could that be causing the issue for some reason?

It shouldn't be an issue directly, but if you uninstalled something Genssi 8 and 9 or tried manually removing files it might be possible.

You hve put the serial number in (Help>About Installed Plug-ins - there will be greyed-out placeholder text if not) and restarted DS?

  • Now apparently I didn't buy the product I know I bought. I somehow managed to get it to work (after reinstalling all the Genesis 9 Basic stuff I don't really need) only to discover that I've got three free uses left and there's a Daz Studio watermark on the character's forehead.

Face Transfer is Genesis 8.1, Face Transfer 2 is Genesis 9. You don't need the older one to use the newer. If you purchased the wrong one for your needs you can, within 30 days, request a refund by opening a Sales support ticket.
