AMD 9950X3D with RTX5090 DAZ SLOWER AS A SNAIL

Hi, 

Just bought myself the newest pc with a AMD 9950X3D and RTX5090, but DAZ takes 20min to start and doesn't load properly, every thing takes another 20min for the program to react. Statusbar says its preparing a scene, but even at startup there is nothing loaded, so I really do not get it.

All my games, Indiana Jones, Fallout, Cyberpunk and whatever heavy games you throw at it work amazing, with 4k graphics.  

Cannot find the issue, so I'm hoping that someone has tips!

    DS4 doesn't support using 50xx cards for Iray rendering (due to technical limitations which prevent integrating a version of Iray supporting them in DS4), so you would be rendering with the CPU, which is much slower.

    50xx cards are only supported in DS2025 (currently in alpha testing)

    OP, what you might consider doing, if you prefer, is working in daz studio 4 and then when you want to render, opening your scene file in DS2025 to do the actual iray rendering.

    DO NOT SAVE in DS2025 cause then you won't be able to open the scene file again in DS4.

    That isn't generally true, scenes should open in DS 4 - even if they later have features that DS 4 lacks I would expect the rest of the scene to load.

    Fair enough, I didn't test that before I made the comment but it's generally considered best practice to not save scene files in later version programs that you intend to open in earlier versions. In a lot of programs it becomes impossible to do so.
