Ah... got it. If so, a man style can be easily added to the shirt with a morph plus flipped Bump and NM maps.

It's always nicer for customers when the vendor does that ONCE instead of every interested customer having to do it individually. Many customers won't have the skill to do that. If a masculine morph is included in a shirt product, it seems like a masculine button placement is reasonable to expect. Don't you think?

Yea, I totally agree with you. And in this case for Sue Yee, it could've been a piece of cake for her to make a man's version within the product.

Sue Yee clothes actually generally have a lot of wrinkles in the wrong place, for the wrong position. I didn't notice it myself, but I have a friend who is trained as a tailor, and she took one look at these jeans with the red belt that I thought was so realistic looking and said, But how do these creases happen? The character is standing, why are the legs wrinkled like this? And she was right, and basically all Sue Yee clothes are like this.

I'm also unhappy that they seem to have stopped supporting G8.

So clothes made for a female won't work correctly on a male. So you can't use the same clothes on figures of both genders just by changing the character shape. Genesis figure designers please note:

I think MB's Cheriss is rather nice, she's got a distinctive look with those wide apart eyes and square chin. The short hair really works with her face shape, too. Not for me, as I'm broke, but I think she does look good.

    Regards,

    Richard

That depends on the clothing, and on cultural norms (and laws - it used to be illegal in some "western" countriues for women to wear more than a certain proportion of male clothes, as I understand it - and probably vice versa)

I would say that they 'work' in that they will fit the figure, but may not suit the tastes and needs of the end user, especially when the PA's intention is for it to be a female garment.

I only noticed https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-wm-sweet-eliza-outfit-for-genesis-9 a couple of hours ago, but it's in still new so must be recent. I love it. Looks like only the second product from White Moon in the store. Quietly anticipating more.

It was a Sunday release, or at least that was when I bought it.

Dynamic wrinkling is unfortunately not a feature that's really in DS - particularly if you also want the clothing to be dForce compatible, as dForce supersedes any wrinkle bend correctives you might add. (I wish there was a feature to flag morphs to be disabled during a dForce sim).

And with that in mind, imperfect wrinkles probably look better than no wrinkles.

I'm also unhappy that they seem to have stopped supporting G8.

Yeah, if that's the way it is going forwards, that's definitely going to discourage me from buying as much of her stuff as I used to. While I'm moving on to G9 more than I used to, I still have a whole load of characters I built on G8, and I always feel like converting characters across generations loses something. (Bend correctives for one, but I also feel like expressions are part of a character's look, so a completely different set of expression controls just makes them look off to me).

Today's https://www.daz3d.com/bj-selection-history-plugin GT: Heck yeah! Simplify my workflow! That one jumped right in my cart (though I'm waiting to check out until later, in case there's some sort of flash that needs a GT in the cart or something...)

For people who are only using MacOS, it's a Windows only plugin.

    But it's a great idea :)

Yes, really really cool idea, BlueJaunte keeps coming up with useful stuff like this! I'm also holding it in my cart a little while. Missed the good gift card sales this week, but maaaaaybe another one comes through before the weekend!

I was a little surprised they didn't start off the Last Chance Final No Really End Of Month 72 Hours Mega Catch-Up Sale today (with Final 48 tomorrow and Final 24 Sunday, followed by two surprise extensions on Monday and Tuesday to see out the end of the month).

They might start it tomorrow, it would be most unusual if they didn't do anything of the sort. But maybe they want to move right on into the DAZ+ sale this time? Still have one of my coupons, need a chance either way to spend it before the end of the month ...

I'm kind of academically curious as to how the catch-up sale will go for me. I've gotten some fantastic bargains this month, so I'm not anticipating that there's much left to tempt me.... but I have tokens expiring at changeover to Oct 1st, and I just got a GT today. One last huzzah might in fact happen, but if it doesn't... no big.

    'XI Salt Lake' https://www.daz3d.com/xi-salt-lake

Pamukkale! heart And nearby Hierapolis with its magnificent ancient thermal baths! One of the most beautiful places in the world. I would have loved to stay there for years. When I saw Xivon's model, I had to have it immediately; it seems to be very well made.

However, the terraced pools of Pamukkale in Turkey are not salt terraces but limestone terraces; they are formed from highly calcareous fresh water. But you can't see that in pictures and videos. ;-)

Very similar to NZ's Pink and White Terraces...at least, until Tarawera exploded.

Feng's Saber looks stunning. And the sci-fi promos make me want to create some vast (Mass Effect-resemblant) universe with multiple various species, so I could put him in there and have a reason to buy him. For a time being, on the wishlist he goes, but still... EXCELLENT!

I've been looking for a faceless asset that still had face-like shape. https://www.daz3d.com/fpe-faceless-for-genesis-9 was not what I really wanted. I hope https://www.daz3d.com/sy-no-face-genesis-9 doesn't disappoint.

There are worse definitely, but I'm so tired of it and the whole 'sexy librarian' thing that goes along with it. (Note: I'm not a librarian)

Neither am I, but I hear you, I miss the optical lenses in the glasses.  Like I used in my project.

I don't mind sexy, but what I see here on the site is not sexy, it's fetish. Whether it's clothing or poses.

I wasn't gendering anyone or calling out any particular vocation

more the Superman Clark Kent thing

the vulnerability of needing glasses though you have a hot body is a bit of a trope

plenty of people wear glasses, it's not like its anything exceptional

you might as well be saying a DAZ promo calling a character blonde bombshell is othering people who bleach their hair

considering the naughty schoolgirl outfits in the store I find this criticism a bit of an overreach quite honestly

I can't say I personally find any of it sexy but DAZ store could make a toilet cleaner sexy they way they wield the brush surprise

    then there's the nurse uniforms...
