So the next part in my great Vampire Bride v4 - G2f Conversion that many have helped me with is the gloves. They are long and a bit bulky..and when I do Autofit, they go like the picture, too low on the body.
Before I start a lot of different attempts at getting them to sit right, I thought I'd ask if anyone has suggestions for how to proceed from the start.

Can't for the life of me remember what it's called anymore but I have a conversion tool that I bought in the market place that makes pretty much any gender-specific clothing fit the figure you're trying to work with. It's wonderful but I can't remember what it's called unfortunately. Just look up clothing conversion and I'm sure you'll find it. I tried searching but forgot it won't show because I already own it.
do you mean this? http://www.daz3d.com/clothes-converter-2-0
To me it looks a bit as if you may have chosen the wrong original figure for the item.
Nope...v4 figure, converted with v4 clone
Looks like the problem comes from the process I'm using to try to keep the metal from warping during autofit...
On the left is the autofitted glove, freshly loaded, to g2f, on the right is fresh load on v4.
I'll try a few ideas, but i might have to live with the warped metal :(
Another way around this problem is to do a autofit to Genesis 1 first with V4 shape dialed in (not sure makes much difference but you never know) save the clothing item and then load in Genesis 2 and autofit from there and it should work.. I have done this myself when V4 clothes have not fitted to Genesis 2 properly, and doing this way works a treat and is good if you are only doing a few items and or a strapped for cash.. :)
I think the other issue is that the latest version of Clothes Converter has no support for Genesis 1 or 2 right now..
Heh.. as it happens, I got notified of your message right as the gloves finished autofitting to genesis :)
Gonna try to set the rigid areas on it and then move on.
No worries hope you get it sorted as dealing with having to do rigid areas is a pain in the proverbial.. :D
Well, the v4 - g1- g2 worked well..
Now it's a problem of getting the weight mapping on the spikes and studs to not warp it all around..sigh... 1 step forward...
