Masure Metrics for Daz Studio 2025?
There is no Masure Metrics in Daz Studio 2025.
So I can't use it and when I need to use it I have to open Daz Studio 4.
Is there any plan to update the programs so that it can be used in 2025 version?

Moved to technical Help as it is a question about a product, not a Product Suggestion (in search of/would like to see)
Yes there is, it is a separate installer for the 2025 Alpha version as with the other Daz own-brand plug-ins (all of which are now, I think, available for 2025).
Richard, I have no pane in the Alpha for Measure Metrics and I just pulled up DIM and typed in 'Measure' and only two options show in my Installed tab. Nothing is waiting on my 'Ready to Download' tab. Is there a SKU I could search for?
Measure Metrics for DAZ Studio 4.24+ (Mac 64-bit)
Measure Metrics for DAZ Studio 4.24+ (Mac 64-bit) Public Build +BETA+
I have the Alpha installed on this machine, my MacMini Pro M4. And I am pretty sure I have not seen it on my Windows 11 machine either.
Mary
Do you have other alpha 2025 plug-ins showing in DIM?
I opened up the Windows 11 Alpha and DIM and a search in DIM for +ALPHA+ only finds:
DAZ Studio 2025 (Win 64-bit) Public Build +ALPHA+
and
GoZ for DAZ Studio 2025 (Win 64-bit) Public Build +ALPHA+
Nothing waiting in the Pending Install tab. I am not a Premiere member, so I would not expect to have those Options. Is 'Alembic' a product I would have had to purchase prior to this?
I also brought up my Product Library online and typed in Alembic and Measure Metrics and no sign of Alembic, but the only Measure Metrics in my library are the two I listed above.
Mary
Edit to add: I looked up Alembic and I have never bought it. It is expensive and I never was experienced enough to justify that cost.
Thank you for the answer, Richard.
I opened DIM and checked the installed contents for 2025.
But there is no measure metrics plugin for the DS version.
I couldn't find measure metrics on Win 11 and Mac both.
OK, thank you - actually it does vaguely ring a bell that others have reported this, you may want to ask Sales to check your accounts. Yes, Alembic is a non-base plug-in - I was just wanting to show what the block should look like, not necesarily exactly which items you should see.
Thank you Richard, I have submitted a Customer Service Request for Measure Metrics for the Alpha to be added. Also if any of my purchased plug-ins have been made ready for the Alpha for them to be pushed. I appreciate your help.
Mary
Richard, this is the answer I received from Customer Service this morning:
As 2025 is still in Alpha, there is no SDK for vendors to update their plugins to it yet. This will become available once it goes into beta. The only plugins available in Alpha right now are the premier and core plugins. I'm not sure how he has a version for 2025. It's not something I have access to.
Measure Metrics is a core, in-house plug-in (the Figure Metrics script isn't, however, in-house).
I also posted this thread to the support guy who just answered me again:
That's odd. I'm not sure how he's seeing that. Other than the premier plugins, it's my understanding that none of the plugins will be ready for Alpha until it goes to beta and the SDK is available. I can tell you that I also do not have Measure Metrics (or any) plugin available for the 2025 Alpha other than the base Daz plugins and the premier plugins.
Yeah, Figure Metrics, we still have not had an update for G9. And yes I realize it is a PA product and I use the G8F/M versions and lower the height level down to find the height for the G9 characters. It is frustrating though.
What I find somewhat frustrating is that somehow PAs manage (at least competently detail oriented ones) still somehow manage to give out the vital statistics for their G9F figures, as do the DAZ G9F figures. But I've yet to manage to create my own multipurpose tape measure that can measure bust/waist/hips/height, which is all I'm really looking for. I guess I'll have to really dig in and apply myself. After all, I'm merely an insignificant customer who only spends a few hundred to a few thousand dollars per year on this stuff from DAZ. Why should anything that I might find useful be a priority?
The tools and documentation ( http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/plugins/measure_metrics/start ) are readily available to create a set of Genesis 9 files for Figure Metrics, there would be no guarantee that an official pack would be free anyway/
@Richard Haseltine
I got a message from a lady of support team who said because you belong to a small beta group, you have the downloadable Mesure Metrics. We common users who bought the plugin have to wait.
