Natural Eyes II for Genesis 8.1 Females and Males not working as expected?

Hi all,

I just installed Natural Eyes II for Genesis 8.1 Females and Males to give my 8.1 characters more life-like eyes, but haven't succeeded yet (not completely). I add the material to the model, but the result isn't as vibrant as in the thumbnail and what is advertised in the shop. Also, when I shine a spotlight on the model's face. the color doesn't get more vibrant either. It actually becomes more evident that the iris is a bit vague and the scelera is dark, not really white. I attached a screenshot where I shine a spotlight on the model.

Am I doing something wrong here?

That is just the result of the preset of green eyes... but you need to tweak the angle of light source, e.g. Dome Rotation to 45 ~ 60 in Render Settings or the angle of any spotlight in your scene so as to make the eyes brighter, as well as make the render a sharper, e.g. set Pixel Fitler to mitchell, Pixel Fitler Radius to 0.7.

  • That works, I also had to pick the RSL one instead of MDL. Thank you!

Right ~ If you want to render with 3Delight, you need to pick RSL Presets... but if you go for Iray rendering, you need to pickup MDL.
