Daz Content Library splitting
My content library is about 1.5TB. My SSD is only 2TB. Can I just add a new content directory on another drive in Content Directory Manager and then move half the library to a separate drive? (Or go into DIM and uninstall "half" the library, change the install directory and install the other half there?) I'm sure there are downsides to most of this, including having two directories of Daz content that are arbitrarily split.
But I'm not planning to buy a larger SSD any time soon.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Yes, you can split the directory - if you install with DIM and kept the zips it would be better to let it move the files (add the new content directory, make it the active one, select the items you want to move, right-click>Reisntall using Current paths as I recall, the wording may be off). Daz Studio itself doesn't care where the files are. You could also just move the whole lot of a mechnaical drive - most items that are slow to load reflect internal processing (adding and linking properties such as morphs) rather than the time taken to load from disc so the speed penalty would not be as severe as with something like a game where the read speed will probably make a noticeable difference.
Technically, yes for the former way.... but if you still want to update or uninstall / reinstall products via DIM, you always have to go for the latter way.
