Why can't they just talk to each other?

    Insecurity is,  so un-attractive.

But more concerning,  is that on atleast two - three occasions,  Charlotte could have been asking the more important questions,  WHO is sending her these pictures,  and Why  they're following Kurt, and plying her with "evidence".  But rather,  she wrapped in her myopic, self centered, insecurities and doubt.  Sure it's conflict,   but disappointing.

Cut her a break.  She's fighting demons.

Losing?  I don't think so.  She didn't take the bait this time.

But it's going to be a while before we discover who the texter's identity is.

  • As usual, your expressions & poses are absolutely believable & cannot be improved. Particularly like the compressed lips expression in the final image.

    Regards,

    Richard

    Together Again.

Many thanks to @junk, from whom I borrowed (with permission) the poses in the last panel, because I thought it was so sweet.  Thomas's original is below.

Junk's pose is a lovely pose, agreed, and I'm sure it'd take a heck of a time to do from scratch.

Thinking of couples poses pre-done in sets, purchased or otherwise. In many ways couples poses don't work well as 'sets'. If they work for the base figure, they almost certainly won't work very well for two non-base characters and .. with G9 what 'base' figures do you do them for? G9(Fem) and G9(Masc) are so unlike humans that it's of little point in using them as any human character will be wrong. You'd almost be better off generalising sets with V9 and.. err.. [trying to think of a 'popular' G9 male - are there any?]  err.. some random male.

Looking at the other frames in the story:

I always read your sets at least twice. The first time is for the story, the second (and any subsequent) times to study the pictures, poses & composition, learning where possible. The pose differences in his face between frame 9 & 10 are so small and subtle, but the whole expression comes alight in frame 10. Such small differences of hand position, eye opening, eyebrow, pupil diameter and mouth, but such a large effect. Really very impressive that you didn't over do it and you did get the emotional strength just right.

    Regards,

    Richard

I think I may have been a bit unclear.  I did create the poses from scratch, but I used Thomas's render as a reference.  That's why I flipped the image--to get the pov I needed.  His image was exactly what I wanted, so I figured why not if he's ok with it.

There will be a good amount of--shall we say "affection"--in the upcoming weeks, and that can be challenging for DAZ figures; they don't cuddle well. (Nothing R-rated, though.) Luckily, deceptive camera angles came to the rescue!  Hiding what's not working in a pose is an art.

Thanks for the kind words, Richard.

That link goes to the previous update (#23).

So, I'm noticing some of Kurt's wall art. Combined with his face in the second-last panel... I'm starting to get a little worried for Charlotte again...

Thanks very much for the headsup.  I think I have it fixed now.
Not sure what you mean about the wall art.  Most of Kurt's wall art is firefighter oriented.
