Can't get any g9 poses to work on g9 actors

I have tried and tried but the pose does nothing. The character still sits in the ready(?) pose.
In the pic below I selected on double clicked the selected pose but the figure still remains in the same default pose. How is this supposed to work? With my g8 characters I click a pose and it works.

Is it a pose for Genesis 9?
If it's not, you'll need a converter. There is a free one by n_alexandru: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/605941/genesis-1-2-3-8-9-to-genesis-2-3-8-9-pose-converter-updated-2025-01-03
If it is, check that you're applying a pose impacting the whole body and not one targeting only, let's say, an arm.
Yes, it's a pose specifically designed for Wise Wizard g9 actor. And when I go to apply the pose I select the whole model in the scene tab. I collapse everything except the main parent actor.
I should say, I assume it is as it came in a bundle for the g9 base actor.
Is your character locked?
What happens if you check Filter By Context at bottom-left of the content pane?
The pose is from this product: Wise Wizard Poses and Magic Props for Genesis 8 Male(s) which is for Wise Wizard - G8M rather than Wise Wizard - G9.
You need a pose converter. Also recommend n_alexandru's free converter scripts as @Elor mentioned above.
What GUI Theme is that in the attached image?
I'm not sure what you're asking. It's whatever is default for Daz, I guess.
It's just the Highway style.
