Hey guys,
I have been looking for how to simulate Godrays in iRay and noticed the product called "Winterblack Halls" which shows an iRay render with them (see picture below). I was curious if anyone knew how this effect was accomplished in iRay.

There was a tutorial written somewhere but I can't seem to find it.

I used sickleyeilds tutorial ( found here http://sickleyield.deviantart.com/journal/Tutorial-Creating-Dust-And-Atmosphere-in-Iray-522291773 ) for my first attempt ,,,which is the second post :D

I don't know if they can be used in Iray. Of course you could ask Jack how he did it in one of his many threads in the MO forum.
i hope this atmocam wont be outdated by a new daz version as the aoa atmocams are now
Very cool effect indeed, but I haven't yet found a use for it outside of my own result from following sickleyield's tutorial a few months ago.
I thought the AOA Atmocams stilled worked in 3Delight?
The thing about atmocam is that it doesn't do anything new or code-funky, it just packages a bunch of items in an easy to use format.
You can totally do 'atmocam' effects on your own. It's just that it takes a bunch of time and effort -- I've been playing with the effect since someone first stumbled on it, and I still ended up buying atmocam to save myself time.
