Issue with saved character not loading with all morphs applied.
I did a dumb thing. I started up DAZ 4.22 without making sure my two external hard drives were properly plugged in. It took me a long time to ihure out why I was getting a postgresql error. I even tried installing the newest version of Daz Studio, and it keeps freezing on me. The veiw port does, not anything else. Anyhoot, I finally saw my error, and uninstalled the newest Daz Studio, and reinstalled 4,22. Now, I have to reinstall G9 essentials and G9 growing up berfore I open Daz in order for my created character I created months ago loads with the morphs applied.

If you have to reinstall content that would sound as if there is an issue with the path settings, uninstalling and reinstalling fdifferent versions of DS would have nothing to do with it.
It worked fine up until Saturday morning. That's when I neglected to plug the evternal hard drives in.
Does the drives have the same drive letter?
If you mean are they the same that they were before, yes. If not, no. They are D and E.
I have a D drive and an E drive. They are plugged into an USB hub that plugs into my laptop by USB and has a power cord plugged into it.
If the drive letters are changed you need to update the paths in Daz Studio.
And in DIM if you are using that.
The drives remained the same. I have a D and an E drive. I have to delete the DAZ 3D > dson > cache > data, and DAZ 3D > Studio4 > temp before I start DAZ.
Can you see the content from both drives inside Daz Studio?
And do you get an error when loading the character?
I can see them, and there are no error messages. Here he is before I delete the stuff in the data in the cache folder and the stuff in the temp and after.
Do you know which morphs is used in the character? Is it a character you have made yourself?
And why are you delting the cache?
I used Growing up for G9, and a morph created years ago when I first created this character with M4 and have converted to each new base from Genesis 1 to G9. There are probably numerous other morohs, far too many to keep track of. I delete the files in the data folder in the cache folder, because I was chatting with Gemini and it suggested to delete what's in the data folder in the cache folder and the temp folder in the Daz Studio 4 folder in roaming. If I don't before I open DAZ, the character loads like in image 1,
Is the before image how he is supposed to look?
And is this character the only thing you have issues with?
If you open the duf file for the character you can search for 'morph' and then you can find all the morphs that is in the character. Then you can see if there is something odd looking among these.
The second image is what he's suppose to look like. The first one he has an adult body. I have multiple characters based on this one.
Oh, when I searched morph, it said it couldn't find the word.
I guess there is no solution? I haven't heard anything in a while.
