Downloading free stuff
Hi,
I aml ooking to download free DAZ stuff. I have tried to downlload free simple items ffor example "male socks" for geneses 8 or earlier versions of genesis. All I get is socks for females or pay for items. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong page on the DAZ website.
I have downloaded items from ShareCG but that site no longer exists. I searched the internet but I haven't found a site as good as that one was. Does anybody know of a site that offers free stuff and also has a good search utility.so I don't have to look through the entire list of free stuff.

I'd be inclined to use Google search - for example a search for "daz free socks genesis 8 males" found this set at Renderosity.
ETA: Though I also found them through putting "socks" in the search box at Renderosity - first time I've had much success searching for anything there!
ALSO, you might find this site useful - it lists freebies for any of the models This is the G8M page. Just type the figure you want in the search bar (e.g. "Genesis 2 Male")

Have you looked here?
When you're looking for free stuff on the DAZ website you can change the sorting to price low-high to see the free things first. For me, the sorting is on the right hand side underneath the featured items (have to scroll down), but where it is may depend on your browser.
(Sorry if this seems obvious, it was a long tiome before I noticed it.)
..Also, if you haven't, it's a good idea to check "Free 3D models" (it's a shorter list than checking all of the freebies on the main 3D models page) as most of them should be rotating out this thursday or friday.
