Premiere Autosave Saves Issue

I find the autosave feature in premiere causes issues. When autosave kicks in, it saves the current scene data to a new file in the Daz Library. This is NOT the save location where I keep my scene files. So if I hit File Open, it does not ask if I want to save the current scene. If I'm not paying attention my saved scene is now "old" because the "last save" is in the autosave directory.

Is there any way to make Daz still ask if I want to save the current scene after autosave saves it?

The attached saves are not a good way to keep track of my scene data.
