Genx2... where is it?

Ok, I succumbed to the wisdom of ages and got Genx2 with Gen2 addon! YAAAY! I put in the Serial number. YAAAAY!

 

... now where the frak is it? It's not an extra tab anywhere, it's not under windows/panes(tabs), I can't find it anywhere. What am I missing?

    Right click --> Add Pane (Tab)

    It is listed in alphabetical order, between Figure Setup and Help Tabs.

    It must be there, If it doesn't then close DS4, open DS4. See in Menu --> Help --> About Installed pluggings. Alphabetical order too (between Garibaldi hair and Hexagon bridge) Genesis Generation X2 plug must be green.

    If you see nothing then verify if you have d3dGenX2.dll file in the plugging folder in C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\plugins

    But it's not listed there.

    Edit: Rather, when you say 'right-click'... where are you right-clicking?

    It's not listed in the tabs for Window -> Panes (Tabs) listing, and I don't see anywhere else where right-click gets me an 'add pane' option.

    ... Ok, figured it out, really stupid.

    Apparently I still had the Beta shortcut on my desktop and kept clicking it instead of the main one. Jeebus. Wonder how long I've been doing THAT...

    Well, that would do it...since you installed it to the main program, not the beta...but if it doesn't show, another thing to try is swap layouts.  Flip to something else and then back (you need ot accept/ok each change).  Sometimes the list doesn't properly update but doing a lyout switch will force it to update.

    It's all squared away. Working on my first render, though it took me a while to make heads or tails out of what I was supposed to do with the product.

     

    I am absolutely THRILLED to have all the ethnics for Genesis for Genesis 2 figures; I also bought Ethnics for Genesis 2, but they don't cover all the stuff I necessarily want.
