    Try manually deleting that file - perhaps it is corrupt due to a (hopefully transient) file system issue.

    I deleted the zip and the DSX from downloads, redownloaded and tried to install, but with same result.

    Do you have an AntiVirus app installed, which might interfere with the installation?

    I hardly believe that. I have used the same for years, and why should it do that the manifest files can't be read.

    I have kind of solved it.

    I moved the program installation path to a data drive.

    I will investigate later what the issue could be.

    @Richard

    1. Changelog link is returning 503 service unavailable error.

    2. Iray Photoreal viewport is laggy as hell in the latest 2025 build even on my 4090 RTX

    3. Both 2025 builds (latest and previous) are having some issue with aspect ratio of the viewport -- when changing camera image gets stretched vertically and then snaps back to normal aspect ratio.

    I assume it will get the same update as the General Reelase toi remove 3Delight, since Daz will no longer have distribution rights, but that may well just be an installer update (I don't know if there are any actual code dependencies within the application)

    I haven’t been here in over two years. I need to do some img2img work for a client, but I ran into an issue with DAZ and my RTX 5090.

    Does the current Public Beta support this GPU yet?

    No, as that requires the new Iray. The ALPHA however does.

    Well this is a first, this will be the first time that I won't update both the gen release and beta, as I still want to use/convert my 3dlite accoutrements, that is assuming that the only changes were the removal of 3dlite...

    Converting 3Delight materials is not affected, and there were some bug fixes: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/change_log

    What does Fixed a regression in the script that backs the “Create Poser Companion Files…” action mean ?  What does  “Create Poser Companion Files…” do ?

    A regression is when a new version breaks a feature that was working previously. So they mean that they fixed a bug that was introduced by a previous update.

    "Create poser companion files" creates files that the DSON Importer plugin for Poser uses to import content in DS format in Poser.

    Great ! Thanks ! Then I just let go this latest version as I'm never a Poser user.
