Any news from Brett "Gofigure3d"?
've seen a few names appear here, people with good idea's or demo projects...
seems lot of the old daz dev's are gone or left?
it's very quiet here in the last 1,5 year...

ISTR a few new things in the past year and a half...
what? Iray?
That would be one.
and what's the answer about that on my question, about dev's left?
I have no idea how many developers Daz 3D has, or how long they've been there.
i also don't know, i only know 5 good people left included the CEO a few years ago. since then it seems to go slow here :( and not much pressure from poser anymore isn't that good.
I'm not sure what CEO your talking about. Dan stayed on the board up until 2013 and Jim has been CEO since 2011. The folks that stayed on and the folks that have been brought on since Jim started have been nothing less than amazing. I have a hard time seeing it as "slow" around here. Since Jim took over the genesis line was released and updated twice. Once to ease production and once to bring the line more into toward industry standards. Studio has had regular updates and seen major updates like Iray. Production of new shapes etc is much more regular than it use to be as well. If anything the rate of progress around here is dramatically faster than it use to be. And there is no evidence that it will slow down any time soon. Poser has not been a factor as far as pressure goes for quite some time. If anything its been internally motivated as the admins set new goals.
Oh and while there has been some turn over and addions made to the dev staff a couple of them have been here for years and years. They also had a return not long ago of one of the devs that helped develop studio initaly.
