"Zelara – A Salute to the Power of Fire" - An explanation of my inspiratons

Hi everyone,
A few days ago, I posted a fire-themed image in the gallery. The inspiration for it didn’t simply come from the DAZ fire tools or from other flame-filled artworks, it came from a deeply personal experience.
As a bit of background, and with the kind permission of the DAZ team, I’m attaching a personal photo of myself from 2015. It was taken during one of my larger public performances at an event called "Extraschicht," a cultural festival in the Ruhr region of Germany.
By that time, I had already been working with fire fans for about three years. Still, every performance, especially the bigger ones, was exciting and meaningful in its own way.
The feeling of playing with fire, seeing it, hearing it, smelling it, and experiencing it with all your senses has left a deep impression on me. As a fire performer, you never truly “control” fire. Instead, you enter into a respectful dialogue with it, follow its rules carefully, and in return, it grants you unforgettable moments.
This may sound a little dramatic to some, but that was my path into the world of fire. Even though I no longer perform, the experience remains a part of me. And who knows, my hair may no longer be fiery red but peacefully gray, yet I might still pick up my fire tools again one day.
Until then, I’ll keep exploring ways to capture that special feeling through DAZ and bring it to life creatively whenever I can.

P.S. If I have chosen the wrong place, it would be nice if the post is moved or I get a short info

Interesting picture.
It probably belong in the 'Art Studio' subforum.
You can move it yourself if you edit your first post, there is an option fot moving it.
Yes, moved to Art Studio and first post edted to include the edits added to the quote.
I suspect doing that sort of thing there would be nothing "peaceful" about the grey in my hair (assuming it survived at all).
Many thanks for the tip about the Art Studio. When I go to "edit", the Art Station category is already selected. If I save it again, will it be in the right place? I am very rarely here in the forum and don't really know the procedure.
Thanks for Info. Well, and everyone has to decide for themselves about the gray :-). I also find gray hair quite attractive ;-)
Well, my medium to dark blonde has also got a part of grey hairs
That is the reward for living life .-)
SamaraBlue, Like you, I don't make many posts in the forum but elsewhere I've mentioned a couple of times how enthralled I've been with the purchase, late last year, of a Meta Quest VR headset.
Many might think VR as being all about games but there is a huge amount of other entertainment (and wondernment) to be had.
Many VR 180 or 360 degree films are on YouTube taken at beauty spots or carnivals, stage shows and so on. Finally to get to the point: there are several fire-dance performances to be seen as well as one short 'documentary' where performers/enthusiasts are seen talking about what they love. If you haven't tried VR in a headset yet, I'm sure you'd be thrilled with the realism of the performances and the closeness the viewer gets to the subject.
Here is a link to the brief 'documentary':
