How to convert Maddelirium products to Daz Studio

I love using Daz Studio and would love to use Maddelirium products in Daz Studio.

How do you think Pepsel did this?  I left her a message, however I don't think she visits the galleries any more.  Such a talented artist!!

I own a lot of converting tools, however I just can't get them to work like this!!

    What are the issues? Materials? Those wil probably involve manual set up using the suplied maps to get something similar to the Poser material Room look.

    I love Maddelirium's stuff!  While I have most of it from that other website, some of those same items are available here now.  I recently picked up a couple for just a couple bucks on sale, even though I already had them, I wanted to support the artist and have "local versions" for updates and what.

    You should be able to convert any V4 character to Iray shaders then use them in DS. Alternatively, if you have the right tools, you can convert them to the latest figures like G8F. I don't own Galeria, but I have managed to convert 3 of MDDs characters to G8F. Attached is one example, MDD Kelsey V4 on G8F.

    yeah the displacement on the fantasy characters needs DAZ Studo settings

    and for iray subdivision

    I have done some but finding the renders might be a bit more challenging, will try 

    found an Octane Render Carrara one which is leaps ahead of iray in displacement 

    I know I uploaded an iray one but damned if I can find it

    that is the V4 textures on G2F but she has G8F in store

    I just tested a couple of V4 products in Daz Studio.  One I tested was Mystique, which did turn out pretty good.  I attached a comparison.  I let each on render a second, but tells a lot!!

    I want MDD Pearl for G8F IRAY Only | Daz 3D.  She looks like Freddy Mercury!  So cute!!

    Havos  That is facinating!  I didn't know you could use morphs and textures on G8F that are for V4.  I can do that with G2F with V4 Skins Auto Converter for Genesis 2 Female(s) | Daz 3D and Generation 4 Legacy Shapes for Genesis 2 Female(s) | Daz 3D.

    I don't have MDD Kelsey!!  I love her!  What tools did you use?

    I also used Generation X to get the morphs from V4 to G3F, and then X-Transfer to move the G3F morphs to G8F.

    To get the V4 textures to G3F UV (which will work on G3 or G8) I used Blacksmith 3D's Texture Transformer, which does a really good job. That is a tool that was once on sale here, then moved to Renderosity, but unfortunately is not available anywhere now. I think the company that sold it has since disbanded, which is a shame as it is the only tool that does this job easily. The only alternative is to use a texture baker like available in Blender, as mentioned above. I can't say anything about that, as I have never used it.

    The other alternative is this: https://www.daz3d.com/legacy-uvs-for-genesis-8-victoria-4, with which you can use the V4 skins directly on G8F without converting them to G3 UV.

    I wish Legacy UVs for Genesis 8: Victoria 4 was on sale.  I spend way too much to be retired !
