The "Potions & Bottles" http://www.daz3d.com/potions-and-bottles has caught my eye.
Can the bottles be variably full?

Ummm no,not as they are but you could do it with post work
Thank you.
Some of the bottles and glasses are similar to the ones in my Everyday Drinks pack. All my bottles and glasses have Level and Tilt morphs* for drinking. (* except 2 bottles, IIRC) - And note that it's Iray only)

Thank you maclean. The "Everyday Drinks" set is cool, but I'm particularaly interested in the little potion/perfume bottles, not drink bottles or glasses. Are you saying that only the bottles and glasses in the "Everyday Drinks" set have the tilt/level feature? or did you mean that ALL my bottles and glasses (both sets) have tilt/level features? -- confused in NY
Making interior liquid is hard. It has to meet very snugly with interior glass (usually intersect, but just a little), and then adjusting height means adjusting along an often not very simple shape.
What I've had to do for personal use is do a bunch of intersects in Carrara, but even that's not perfect, because ideally you have a top meniscus to reflect surface tension... Although you can fake that a bit with careful use of a deformer.
It's too bad someone can't think of a way to make a tilt morph, regardless of the shape inside the bottle and have it work with collision. I think one day that will be possible but for now... I tried making some tilt morphs for my Sports bottle I made and your right Will... not easy at all. PITA actually!
I wonder if setting collision would help. Hmm.
One upside is that liquid doesn't generally have texture patterns, so mesh distortion should be less of a problem.
Love your shaders on thos... your olives are "Mac Beans" in my sci-fi series. Favorite snack of the Commonwealth of Planets (20,000 planets and growing!)
I meant the bottles & glasses in Everyday Drinks have Level/Tilt morphs. I guessed you were more interested in the potions, but I mentioned my pack after I looked at the product and saw regular drinks bottles/glasses in the promo.
Re liquids in bottles and glasses - Yes, it's a pain to do. No need to tell me that - LOL. It took me a long time to get them right, and the only ones which were utterly impossible to morph were the wine and champagne bottles, due to the thin curving neck. Also, the liquid needs to be a tiny bit smaller than the bottle/glass, or you can get weird artifacts. FWIW, my method was to clone the bottle, remove everything except the inner shell, flip the polys, cap it, and scale it down (about 99.7%). Then make the morph - the most difficult part - usually involving quite a bit of vertex-pushing
LOL @ the 'Mac Beans'. I love it when people do something utterly unexpected with my products! Long live the Commomwealth of Planets!
