Apparently corrupted product DUFs

I just acquired the "Premium Props - Park Bench" product, installed it and tried to use it. As far as I can tell from the log file and my attempts to manually open the props, the actual DUFs are in some way corrupted. The error message on every attempt is the same: Syntax error - expected '{' or '['

I can't imagine the product would have gotten onto the marketplace with such a glaring problem, so I'm wondering what could possibly have gone wrong here. Any ideas?

That message usually means that the product didn't install properly. I would try uninstaling and reinstalling.

Thanks. Uninstall-reinstall changed nothing, which suggests to me that either the product has been removed and is sending me blank DUFs, or the product is actually corrupted on the download server D-:

    Anyone else using this product?

    How are you installing?

And what is the full error text from the log (Help > Troubleshooting > View Log File)?

Here's the link to the product:

I installed it via DIM around 7 PM MDT on June 13.

I just checked, and it's working fine in my environment.

Could you provide more details about the issue?
For example, a screenshot of the error message or the error log.

I do have the product and it works properly for me. I installed it with DIM though (just reinstalled it to be sure the file on server is ok), not directly from Daz Studio.

That is usually an issue with the files nopt decrypting when installed through Daz Connect (through Daz Studio itself). Sometimes just copying the files from the zip over the Connect files (in /data/cloud/1_37515/) will let you proceed, otherwise you will have to uninstall the Connect version and install through DIM.

You usually get a Syntax error when someone has manually edited a DSF/DUF file, and made a mess of their edit.

Granted it's usually a missing closed bracket rather than an open bracket, but it's still the same issue.

Thanks for all the analyses. Have reinstalled through Daz Connect and it seems to be working perfectly!
