Evening at the Diner - Late 1950s

This illustration is influenced by my appreciation of the hot rod car culture that started in the 1940s and 1950s in southern California. How couples, families and singles would gather in their vehicles at the local drive in diner and drive in theater.

I created and rendered in 3D and with details added using Photoshop and Rebelle 7. Color correction, contrast, color grading where done in Lightroom.

NI AI used.

Growing up I enjoyed the art of Frank Frazetta and Norman Rockwell. I also appreciate the work of comic book artists Will Eisner and Jack Kirby. Will Eisner is so highly regarded the comic industry named an award in his honor, "Eisner Award".

These is another of my attempts at releasing an image from the prison of my mind.

I tried to upload this to my gallery but I find the process a little overwhelming and confusing.

I entered all the empty fields and sellected all the products used, entered message to moderators

    Selected SAVE.

Then I am asked to select which of my labums to save to. But the iimage was not there to select.

In the past I've stopped uploading to DAZ's gallery due to the very complicated nature.

I simply do not have this issue with any other online gallery

I am also quite computer literate being a computer database programmer and systems administrator for close to 35 years. Now retired.

Please DAZ simplify the uploading of images to your gallery. I will not go through the agony of uploading another image to your gallery until it is more user friendly.

Many thanks to DAZ and vendors for creating these wonderful tools and assets that allow creating art very enjoyable and easy. I trully appreciate your efforts.

    Cheers

Looks like my uploading to the gallery must have rectified itself as I know see a PUBLISH button that was not there before.

Oh lovely! Can you put in the link to the image in the gallery? I can't seem to find it there and would love to give it a like.

    Edit: No worries, found it!
