Various Rings

I've done a couple of rings to be applied to various fingers of various generations. Unfortunately, the installation files are bigger than can be attached to posts in this forum. So, here are a few links.

Wedding Ring

The first ring is a wedding ring for the left ring finger of G3F, G3M, G8F, G8M and G9.

It's available here, with a 7Mb download https://www.renderosity.com/freestuff/items/95985/wedding-ring-g3f-g3m-g8f-g8m-and-g9

Hope it's useful.

Regards,

Richard.

    The second ring is an

    Ancient Ring

The ring is based on a photo I saw of a ring announced in April 2025 of a hoard found near Sheffield in England. The ring was dated as 'Around 600AD'. The ring is engraved and filled with black enamel. I created mesh based shapes and coloured them. There are four different shapes. The inside of the ring is inscribed with a black inscription reading 'Rex Patricus', which in this context would mean 'King and Father'

The installation files are 11Mb, so too big to be an attachment. The ring may be downloaded here: https://www.renderosity.com/freestuff/items/98982/ancient-ring-for-g3fm-g8fm-and-g9

The ring is set up as a wearable preset for G3F and G8F on their left ring, right ring and right mid fingers. For G3M, G8M and G9, the wearable presets are for left ring and right middle fingers.

    Hope it's of interest.

    Regards,

    Richard.

I had the wedding rings from when you first offered them, but not the other set, thank you for these.

I admit the wedding ring has been around a while, but I hadn't done a thread with it in. The ancient Ring was only finished on Friday and once approved at Rendo I thought a ring collection thread might be useful, as I can't imagine this will be the last. Regards, Richard.

Then I look forward to what kind of ring you make next.

Oh no. I've unintentionally raised expectations. How about a keyring? ;-)

Actually, I modelled up a spiral key ring and two keyring tags during my lunch break today. I've got a couple of cylinder (Yale) keys and a couple of mortice lock (Chubb) keys done already.

    Regards, Richard
