I admit I was skeptical of Anemone at first, and I thus apologize, because I like her- at least her extras are great.

I don't tend to render doll-like characters but all the items, the crest, the hands, the feet, apply nicely as autofit, so you don't have to dial-in the base shape at all if you don't want to. . The striped texture and the extra textures so you can use lady of the lake work welll on both male and female characters.

Would love it if the PA who made this, makes more unusual skins. They look good. Nicely done.

That is the problem with some DO products, the artist behind them often remains anonymous.

Judging from a comment on her Facebook it looks like the character was created by Thorne. No idea if she created the skins too.

It's a Thorne dolly, but I don't know who made the textures.

is anyone having an issue fitting a top on her?  Everytime I try and put a bathing suit top on her and parent it to her or fit it to her chest, half her breasts show.  Its only covering the bottom part of her breasts.  NOT something I could post in public lol.  Can't figure out how to get around it.  Might have to photoshop it and mask off her chest where the suit is.  I don't want her to have no breasts at all but even using the morphs to dial down her breasts isn't fixing the problem.  and they are clothes for Genesis 2

No issues with clothing here. Load clothing item and fit to Anemone, no pokethrough.

The included textures for Nineve were a nice touch. For those of us who like less of the dolly look, it is good to have some variety in one bundle. Good job. =-)

  • I also purchased her mainly for the hair. I'm using it with a G2 mermaid. But the rest is great, I'll have to play with it some. smiley

SereneNight, your in-post image isn't showing up. It's that darned little square.

Heres a quick anemone render on a less stylized fugure. Also shows that while straight renders you have to use the matching textures, it's pretty easy to combine via some quick postwork the second 2 renders are what I combined with some very basic erasing. I forget who told me you can spot render to a new window, but I am forever in their debt.  I have another more complex render coming, If my comuter cooperates.  I'm having lots of fun making the hair as gelatinous as possible

I really like how easy it is to get the translucence in the webbing. I can see some really cool renders with that,

    ARISE!

I just wanted to say, as I'm playing with this a bit... the design of the head tentacles is _outstanding_.

Each is posable. There are presets. Each also comes with a set of preset posing morphs to move in various patterns. EACH LINK has an additional set of morphs like 'bend before' and 'bend after' so that you can pick a spot and easily manipulate the tentacle on one side or on the other.

Just... really amazing, really tight design.

Thanks for your nice comments!  Yes I created the Anemone morphs and geo-grafts myself, but still not sure who did the final texture sets.  I thought the easy pose dials for the hair would be necessary, especially since there are something like over 70 body parts there lol

    Glad you like her :)
