How can I do this in DAZ and ZBrush?

I want to totally blend shape a head into Genesis characters?

What I'm trying to do is take a model someone else made for the head and put it on my Genesis figure.    Should I just send them a head OBJ and have them morph and I can import?

Any ideas.  Thank you

It is not acceptable to send anyone a copy of any of the genesis mesh, this is against the DAZ 3D EULA.  Is the head one that you have modelled yourself, completely from scratch?

If someone else is creating the morph for you, then the easiest option is for them to download Daz Studio, install Genesis essentials and then export the Genesis obj themselves. When they are completed they can send you the morph file (but not the full obj) without breeching any licences.

Does anyone know how to get an entirely different head on the character?

I saw someone use the process and here is how he described it.

'Both of them were created in the same manner. I started with a full body sculpt in Zbrush, polypainted it and then projected the sculpt onto the 'Genesis' stock model in Daz Studio 4 as a 'shape' or 'morph target'. This was made possible through the projection and morph target tools in Zbrush as well as the asset transfer plugin in Daz studio. "

Any ideas on how to do this?

    This was the result.

    Any hellp would be awesome.

    Do you have ZBrush?

Yes, that looks quite nice.  I think I might try playing around in Blender to see if I can come up with a morph shape like this for Genesis.  (not referring to the video)

Whether you are using Zbrush or another program, the main thing to keep in mind is that the base mesh cannot be added to or subtracted from, except in some circumstances that may work better with geografting.  That would involve a lot more work.  Based on the description you quoted, I don't think geografting was involved.  In fact, if the creator was inclined to do so, she/he could share the morph(s) for anyone who uses DAZ Studio, since it seems that the sculpted base mesh was in fact Genesis.  The extra details and colors would be textures from the painted high resolution sculpture that have been mapped to the base mesh UVs.
